Our 10 year old Maltese, Chloe, started limping on her left front leg, and soon both the front left and back right were limping giving her a very hop along gait. She refused to play ball, which she loves, and it took a full minute for her to get up from bed. A visit to the vet and X-rays confirmed she had arthritis in the front knee and the back leg was compromising. Surgery was an option as was medicine, but we asked about dog chiropractic instead as both my husband and I have had successful experiences with our back and shoulder problems. Dr Lee was the only vet our vet recommended. Chloe is a terrible patient, but Dr Lee remained calm and professional the entire visit even when Chloe never sat still for a moment. We had weekly treatments, then every other week, and now we are on a monthly maintenance. At home there were exercises and increasing long walks. She is now playing ball and can jump up from bed at a moments notice for treats. Dr Lees’s treatment plan really made a difference in her quality of life.
